Date Read: Oct 7, 2012

Review: This book was well written and actually made me cry in places. Beautiful slow building romance with substance. Strong heroine and hero.

Series: N/A

Type: Regency

Heat: 7/10

Tropes: Strong Heroine, Enemies to Lovers,

Premise: Reggie was supposed to inherit an Earldom, but only receives his childhood home - Strictland - and a tresspasser calling herself Lady Alys running things. At thirty-seven, and suffering blackouts from alcholism, he decides it's time for a change. It's heartbreaking as he has setbacks. Lady Alys has 3 young wards depending on her, too.

The Good: Just so well done.

The Bad: Content warning on Alcoholism.
